Children need movement, fun outdoor activities to develop their motor skills, balance and coordination. Basketball helps them to be healthy and active, and this makes children feel good about themselves. Any physical activity, especially a sport like basketball that uses the whole body and stimulates attention and strategic thinking, will help them achieve what athletes call “tonus”, that is, agility, lucidity and confidence in their own strengths both on the court and in everyday life.
Objectives:
Learning the correct technical elements without the ball (fundamental position, movement on the court, stops, added step, arm and foot play, changes of direction and jumps); Learning the correct technical elements with the ball (holding, catching and passing the ball, dribbling, pivoting, shooting from a standing position, from a dribble and from a jump); Learning individual tactics in attack and defense.
Essential principles and rules for athletes:
The team represents a family of which you are a member;
The goal of the game is not only to win, but to initiate and improve yourself and of course, to have fun and feel good while exercising.
