A simple letter to simply a teacher!
Thank you teacher! After she taught us to fly, she now lifts us to the sky, in the wide world. That's what Mara wrote in her fourth grade final speech. In fact, in this sentence one can find everything that this person, unknown to the world, has done for my girls. This is what any teacher who loves his or her job would do.... Children don’t just belong to their parents—they also belong to the first teacher in their life. Mara and Cezara are also yours, Teacher Oana Frunzaru. Happy to have such children together!

I feel that the story of the experience of being an 8th grade parent should begin with the beginning of our relationship with OGIS. When Octavian was getting ready for first grade, I visited several private and state schools. We were looking for a normal school where the children would come with pleasure to learn and where they would have teachers who would encourage them and help them to understand what is fair and healthy competition. And I also wanted him to have little, but relevant, homework assignments so that he would have time to play. I quickly realized that my normal means, in fact, EXCEPTIONAL, but at OGIS I realized that EXCEPTIONAL is a reality. Every year, between 1st and 8th grade, it was confirmed to me that my choice was a very good one because Octavian grew up nicely. He had very good teachers who helped him to learn easily, he discovered his passion for physics, and he had time to play. Thank you for the way you have managed this year, with all of its emotional burden, for having undertaken to educate the children when many simply ask them to memorize, and thank you for the way you have contributed to Octavian's growth.

Thank you very much for this report, for the way it was done to show a high level of involvement and passion. It is very clear that Vlad spent the last years of nursery school in an environment full of care and love. He and I were both lucky. Please receive all my appreciation and consideration for the fineness, subtlety, intelligence and discretion with which you managed to bring to light all that Vlad had to offer even when he didn’t realize it. I have noticed all of this and I express my appreciation for both the Olga Gudynn nursery school, and especially for Vlăduț’s teachers. I do not want to forget Miss Vali who met us every morning with the enviable tone that everyone would like for a proper day's start, nor do I want to forget Mr. Pascale with whom Văduț practiced greetings every morning. Eliza’s academic results throughout the year, as well as the results obtained in the exams, were a natural consequence of her determination, of the teacher's skill and dedication, and of the parents' support.
