The instructional-educational process in Olga Gudynn Nursery Schools is enriched by activities that help children safely use a wide range of tools, objects, and materials and children meet people specialized in certain fields and work with a variety of tools.
Children will come to know and understand the surrounding world much easier if they experiment, research new objects and materials, seek answers, learn how different things work, and learn to protect themselves from dangers—all of which help in the overall learning process.
The time spent outdoors with their peers helps children learn to avoid negative attitudes towards others, to respect those around them, to be tolerant, to be friendly, and to adapt easily in any community.
These positive values and behaviors that they learn in nursery school, which will be reinforced in primary and secondary school, will guide students on their path to maturity.

Learning Through Our Own Experiences
Our children are actively involved in their own education. They are offered countless opportunities to discover themselves, get to know each other better, and to make themselves stand out.
Within the Olga Gudynn nursery schools, hands on learning programs are designed monthly to provide children with concrete examples and rich experiences to help them better understand the material presented in the classroom. Children need to see, touch, and feel what is around them to satisfy their curiosity and to learn with pleasure. By learning through hands on activities, children are better prepared to become problem solvers that can properly handle future challenges.
Thematic visits are organized throughout the school year with destinations chosen according to the topics addressed in the school syllabus. Thus, visits are made to: radio stations, television stations, theaters, the botanical garden, medical offices, the library, markets, animal farms, or museums. These experiences provide children with various opportunities to learn more easily and discover their passions.
Field trips, camps, ecological projects, and humanitarian projects provide great opportunities for practical learning that aim to help children develop their creativity, acquire autonomy, take initiative, and successfully adapt to today’s society. Often, the children receive important guests who tell them about various professions such as: road brigade policemen, firefighters, actors, writers, doctors, and successful sportsmen.
Periodically, trips are organized outside Bucharest to learn about the history of famous places and representative personalities for our country.
