Happy Networking!
Schools that involve the community in their activities believe in the benefits that exist for both the school and the students. A study of a lot of 200 schools across the UK showed that involving families and communities in school acitivities had a positive impact on students’ learning outcomes, attendance, and behavior. The educational process has improved as the school has begun to be seen as more of a community support center as a whole, and not just a place for students to learn.
Olga Gudynn Int’l School aims for effective communication and a partnership relationship with parents based on trust, collaboration, and mutual support. In this regard, parents participate with children and teachers in community activities of the Olga Gudynn Int’l School (OGIS), such as the Big Tidy Up, Sports Day, Marathon in Baneasa Forest, Christmas Fair, Easter Bazaar, Open Doors Week, and so on. Thus, an impressive number of members of the Olga Gudynn Int’l School (OGIS) meet to celebrate the joy of being together and being helpful to the community. When the time comes to examine our results, we can say, with well-deserved joy, that we have succeeded together!
Another successful project of the Olga Gudynn Int’l School (OGIS) is the Parents’ School which was started out of love for children. It is an ambitious project that meets the current needs of parents to be informed about new trends in children’s education, to have a deeper understanding of the unique character of the child and his or her behavior at different ages, and, finally, to improve the communication between family and child.
